Mel Ming
Church Consultant & Leadership Coach
Mel has served as a consultant, leadership coach, denominational district leader, pastor, missionary, and seminary and university administrator and professor. Mel was the founder of the Doctor of Ministry program for the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
His educational background includes: a Doctor of Divinity from Northwest University (Assemblies of God); a post-doctoral concentration in leadership at Seattle University (Catholic); a Doctor of Ministry in Church Administration at Drew University (United Methodist); a Master of Religious Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Southern Baptist); and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanguard University (Assemblies of God).
Mel has traveled widely training and coaching church leaders and organizations. Several of his clients are included in Outreach Magazine’s “100 Fastest Growing Churches in America” and “100 Largest Churches in America”.
He and his wife Martha have two married daughters and four grandchildren.
